Through the best kind of miracle, Bela and Tim met on the internet. In the maze of dating correspondence, something stood out about this one.
She sent him a smile. He sent her a message. She was impressed by his "ridiculously amazing communication skills.” Unfortunately, geography wasn't on their side. They lived in different cities.
Many messages later, she took a trip out to see him. Bela + Tim spent the entire day together. Then, the next day as well. They went on an unplanned road trip, got lost, and spent hours in the car together. About that first meeting in person he said, “I tend to be awkward, but it was comfortable from the beginning with her. She’s the life of whatever room she’s in."
They dated long distance, with many lengthy emails, Skype chats, and visits. Eventually, she moved to be near him, and they decided to make it official. On a beautiful, warm day at the Carefree Resort in Carefree, Arizona, they said "I do" with a vibrant, personalized Indian-American ceremony and receptions.
As Bela crossed over the bridge towards the ceremony, the tears on Tim's face said everything that words can never quite capture: love, gratitude, and friendship for the rest of their lives.
