Occasionally, I like to get outside of myself photographically--challenge myself to photograph differently than what I typically do. In this commercial fitness shoot, I had a blast working with off camera flash to create harder, more intense lighting for Amenzone Fitness. Amenzone does what they call "primal fitness," which "promotes a natural workout that uses clean tires and one's own body strength and movement to stay fit." Needless to say, the soft lighting that I usually employ wasn't quite right for this crowd.
